Seeking a Data Scientist to join the R&D team at a digital intelligence platform company. The role involves developing machine learning models and statistical algorithms to analyze large-scale data, turning raw data into actionable insights for global clients.
Responsibilities
- Work on versatile use cases in a dynamic production environment
- Analyze data from various sources and transform it into usable input
- Understand customer use cases and create models to translate them into meaningful insights
- Initiate and own tasks from exploration to proof of concept and deployment
- Collaborate with data engineers to ensure desired production results
- Own the ongoing validation process for existing metrics
- Collaborate with other R&D teams on best practices
- Deploy machine learning models into production for ongoing use
Requirements
- M.Sc. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience with statistical and machine learning tools such as Python and R
- Strong communication skills to guide customers through model logic
- Experience developing machine learning, image processing, or NLP algorithms
- Demonstrated experience with probability theory and statistics
Nice to have
- Experience with Big Data tools and cloud infrastructure, particularly PySpark and AWS
- Strong analytical skills with experience processing tabular data and extracting insights
