A technology company is hiring a part-time SOC Analyst in Tel Aviv to monitor and investigate security events, coordinate incident resolution, and support continuous security operations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents from SIEM and other security systems.
- Investigate security incidents using specialized tools and provide independent response where possible.
- Escalate incidents to relevant IT and infrastructure teams and track them through resolution.
- Document and close incidents in the incident management system.
- Collaborate with information security, IT infrastructure, support, and system user teams during investigations and resolution.
- Support the ongoing transfer of logs and alerts to the organization’s monitoring systems.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience in information security monitoring, SOC operations, or a similar role.
- Practical experience with security technologies such as firewalls, antivirus, IDS, and related solutions.
- Experience working with SIEM platforms.
- Understanding of network topology and basic communication protocols.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
- Information security certification or completion of a security course of at least 100 study hours.
- Willingness to work 24/7 shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Fast learner with curiosity and willingness to develop professionally.
- Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and service skills.
