Lead advanced threat intelligence research focused on APTs and state-linked actors. Investigate adversary capabilities, infrastructure, tactics, and emerging behaviors to support threat hunting, detection engineering, and defensive decisions for government and critical-infrastructure customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex investigations into advanced and state-linked threat actors.
- Define and prioritize research areas covering actors, campaigns, sectors, and techniques.
- Produce actionable cyber threat intelligence and design threat-hunting campaigns using analytics, automation, and AI capabilities.
- Maintain structured knowledge of actors, campaigns, infrastructure, and TTPs.
- Collaborate with cyber AI researchers on artificial cyber researchers and AI-driven analysis capabilities.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of cybersecurity experience, including hands-on threat intelligence research focused on APTs or state-linked actors.
- Detailed knowledge of APT groups, historical activity, tactics, techniques, procedures, motivations, and targeting patterns.
- Experience with infrastructure research using WHOIS, passive DNS, SSL certificate analysis, BGP/ASN data, Censys, and VirusTotal.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience producing threat intelligence reports or briefs.
- Experience with software development and data analysis using Python, Jupyter, or similar tools.
- Ability to investigate ambiguous or incomplete information with strong intellectual curiosity.

- Experience researching or defending government or critical-infrastructure organizations.
