Responsibilities
- Research attacker techniques, security controls, and anomalous patterns at low and high levels
- Analyze large-scale telemetry and identify security posture insights
- Build and evaluate AI-for-research-productivity and AI-in-production agentic workflows
- Develop code with engineering teams to support research findings
- Design sensors and implement discovery and detection logic with product teams
- Validate security capabilities using data-driven methods
- Develop and implement security innovations across threat protection products
Requirements
- At least 10 years of security research experience
- Proficiency in C++, C#, Java, or Python
- Experience leading a feature from design through production delivery, including coding, testing, and deployment
- Ability to pass required employer, customer, and government security screenings
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
Nice to have
- Offensive security research experience
- Experience in data analysis and data-driven research
- Published security research papers, blogs, or books
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or software engineering, or equivalent practical experience
