Lead the security analysis function at a growing cybersecurity company, managing analysts and shaping threat intelligence, detection quality, incident response, and security content for a software security product.
Responsibilities
- Own the quality and content of risk detection, threat intelligence feeds, and security expertise.
- Manage, coach, and develop the security analyst team and oversee performance.
- Set the team's roadmap with engineering, product, and marketing partners.
- Lead the company's response to global supply chain and application security incidents.
- Determine team reactions, product changes, and external communications during incidents.
- Oversee security content including guides, remediation steps, in-product insights, blogs, and social publications.
- Represent the company as a public thought leader in cybersecurity.
- Partner with customers and field teams on high-stakes analyses of customer environments and present findings to security leaders.
Requirements
- Experience leading a security research, detection, or analyst team.
- Deep hands-on experience in cybersecurity, application security, supply chain security, or a closely related field.
- Some software development experience, including AI-based development, and familiarity with modern development workflows.
- Ability to balance speed and rigor and communicate trade-offs clearly during incidents.
- Strong English writing and speaking skills for customer executives, webcasts, blogs, social platforms, and other public communications.
