Join a CTO Office team developing research-driven cybersecurity prototypes for securing and governing AI agents at enterprise scale. Investigate emerging threats, validate customer needs, and turn promising concepts into working capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Research customer needs, cybersecurity gaps, and technical feasibility
- Take ambiguous security challenges from initial concept to working proof of concept
- Scope problems, build prototypes, evaluate results, document approaches, and ship outcomes
- Make architecture, tooling, and technical trade-off decisions
- Collaborate with product, research and development, and go-to-market teams
- Present prototypes and emerging security insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Lead successful prototypes through transition to engineering and product teams
- Track developments in AI and AI agent security
Requirements
- Substantial hands-on experience in engineering or security research
- Experience building with LLMs and AI agents, including understanding their operation and failure modes
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity attack paths and defensive controls
- Ability to investigate unfamiliar problems, form a technical point of view, and build working solutions
- Ability to balance customer needs, product value, and technical feasibility
- Comfort working autonomously without a detailed specification
- Strong communication skills, including presenting prototypes and documenting technical work
Nice to have
- Experience building or researching cybersecurity products
- Experience with AI agents or AI agent security
- Experience in an early-stage startup or zero-to-one environment
- Previous team lead or technical lead experience
- Public technical work such as blog posts, conference talks, open-source contributions, or published papers
