Conduct Android security research and develop device-extraction capabilities used in lawful digital investigations. The role focuses on discovering vulnerabilities and turning them into practical exploits across mobile technologies and architectures.
Responsibilities
- Research vulnerabilities across mobile application layers, kernels, TrustZone, bootloaders, firmware, and varied architectures.
- Reverse engineer code without source, symbols, or documentation.
- Develop robust exploits that work across chipsets, vendors, and operating system versions.
- Conduct long-term, broadly scoped security research as part of a team.
Requirements
- Practical experience in vulnerability research and exploitation
- Practical reverse engineering experience
- Knowledge of current and emerging security mitigations
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Android architecture and internals
- Experience with LLM-based pipelines for vulnerability research, exploit development, or fuzzing
- Knowledge of cryptographic primitives and weaknesses
- ARM reverse engineering experience
- Advanced fuzzing experience
- Offensive hardware research or board design experience
