Support EU-funded technical assistance assignments focused on Egypt’s green transition, climate action, sustainable water management, environmental sustainability, renewable energy, and energy efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sector assessments, diagnostics, feasibility studies, policy papers, and investment-related analyses
- Provide technical expertise for climate action, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and environmental sustainability assignments
- Support sustainable water resource management and related policy priorities
- Contribute to EU-funded technical assistance and institutional capacity-building activities
Requirements
- Master’s degree in environmental sciences, climate change, energy, engineering, economics, sustainable development, or a related field
- At least 7 years of relevant professional experience
- English proficiency at C1 level
- Experience in green transition, climate change, renewable energy, energy efficiency, or environmental sustainability
- Knowledge of EU climate, energy, and green transition policies and relevant international frameworks
- Knowledge of water, sanitation, and environmental management
Nice to have
- Arabic language skills
- French language skills
- Experience in Egypt or the MENA region
