Seeking a Software Engineer for IT Consulting at a global professional services firm. Contribute to large-scale projects with Java, SQL, web services. Requires Bachelor's in CS, experience in Java/OOP. Preferred: Angular, Node.js, Oracle. Hybrid in Thessaloniki, mid-senior level.
Responsibilities
- Provide significant technical contribution to large-scale implementation projects.
- Take responsibility in challenging engagements in Greece and abroad.
- Participate in the design and deployment of leading-edge technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Self-motivated to contribute with own ideas and document solutions.
- Experience in Java or other object-oriented programming language.
- Completed military obligations (where applicable).
Nice to have
- Experience in SQL and PL/SQL.
- Working experience with at least one RDBMS (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with IDE tools (e.g. JDeveloper, Visual Studio).
- Knowledge of web services (SOAP, JSON/REST).
- Knowledge of Oracle ADF.
- Knowledge of Angular, Ionic, or Node.js.
- Knowledge of source control software (e.g. Git, SVN, TFS).
- Ability to design and develop solutions with business users.
- Work experience in Insurance sector or solution provider for Insurance projects.
