Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise on product technology and development based on internal and external technology landscapes and customer needs.
- Identify AI opportunities to improve engineering efficiency, plant performance, asset reliability, and safety.
- Ensure integration of AI functionalities into automation engineering tools, including control systems configuration, digital twins, and simulation tools.
- Contribute to product quality by meeting functional and non-functional requirements such as performance and cost.
- Translate product vision into actionable development steps in alignment with R&D direction.
- Protect newly created intellectual property and assist in defense and enforcement against competition.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Automation, Electrical, Computer Science, Software Engineering) or equivalent experience.
- Experience with AI/ML technologies and data analytics.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex technical products.
- Minimum 5 years of directly related experience.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Ability to handle multiple stakeholders and work across different teams.
- Willingness to travel approximately 30% across Europe and India.
