Join a technology company in the automotive sector as a Product Owner. You will define the product vision, manage the backlog, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features for Dealer Management Systems. This hybrid role requires monthly on-site presence in Bonn, Germany.

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals and market needs.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and synthesize customer feedback.
  • Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog with clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Continuously refine backlog items based on feedback and business value.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, QA, marketing, and sales teams to plan sprints and ensure delivery.
  • Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for product-related communication and gather stakeholder requirements.
  • Validate features through testing, demos, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Track product performance using KPIs and iterate based on data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, technology, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience writing user stories and managing product backlogs.
  • German language skills at C1 level or equivalent.
  • Automotive and Dealer Management System (DMS) domain expertise.

Nice to have

  • Certifications such as CSPO, PSPO, or equivalent.
  • Experience with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or Trello.
  • Background in UX/UI principles or software development.
  • Strong data-driven decision-making experience.
