Join a Hamburg-based software agency specializing in digital health solutions. As Product Owner, you will guide products from initial concept to market-ready digital health applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile, remote-friendly environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop market-ready digital products from initial ideas through discovery, conception, and implementation in collaboration with clients and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Plan and independently facilitate discovery workshops, translating outcomes into clear requirements and product decisions.
  • Create target-group-specific solutions using wireframes and validate them through user interviews and usability tests.
  • Write epics and user stories, define testable acceptance criteria, prioritize backlogs, estimate efforts with the development team, perform acceptances, and oversee implementation.
  • Coordinate design and software architecture with clients and other stakeholders.
  • Plan implementation timelines and budgets together with project management, coordinating team efforts.
  • Plan and support go-lives, taking ownership of store releases.
  • Document feature scope according to regulatory requirements (ISO 13485 / IEC 62304).
  • Contribute beyond individual projects by evolving methods, processes, and internal product management practices, safely using AI tools, sharing knowledge, and improving interfaces and structures.

Requirements

  • Several years (at least 3) of experience in agile product development of digital solutions, ideally as a Product Manager, Product Owner, UI/UX Designer, or Concept Developer in digital health.
  • Experience in a regulated environment (e.g., digital health applications, medical devices, ISO 13485 / IEC 62304).
  • Strong knowledge of UX-related methods such as Design Thinking, user interviews, and discovery formats.
  • Ability to analyze problems structurally, derive clear requirements, and develop viable concepts and solutions.
  • Solid technical understanding, preferably with experience integrating AI technologies into products.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to advocate decisions, lead stakeholders, and bring together different perspectives.
  • Consideration of economic aspects alongside technical ones, with willingness to support project controlling.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
  • Business fluency in German and English.
