Mid-level User Acquisition Manager
A mobile game company is seeking a User Acquisition Manager to manage and scale performance campaigns for iOS and Android games. The role combines paid acquisition, creative testing, attribution analysis, and close collaboration with product and creative teams.
Responsibilities
- Launch, optimize, and scale performance campaigns for mobile games on iOS and Android
- Manage user acquisition campaigns across Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Unity Ads, AppLovin, and other relevant channels
- Analyze campaign performance and attribution data to guide budget decisions
- Develop and test hypotheses involving creatives, audiences, geographies, placements, and funnels
- Contribute to advertising creative development from ideation and briefing through testing and scaling
- Coordinate designers, motion designers, and video editors
- Create data-informed creative briefs using trends, references, and previous test results
- Run A/B tests for creatives, landing pages, store pages, and advertising combinations
- Build reports and dashboards for acquisition analysis
- Collaborate with product teams to align acquisition hypotheses with features, events, and monetization
- Identify new channels, creative formats, and market opportunities for scalable growth
Requirements
- At least 2 years of user acquisition experience in mobile games or mobile apps
- Understanding of free-to-play mobile game promotion on iOS and Android
- Hands-on experience launching, optimizing, and scaling performance campaigns
- Proficiency with platforms such as Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, Unity Ads, and AppLovin
- Strong understanding of CPI, CTR, IPM, ROAS, LTV, retention, and CAC metrics
- Experience with mobile measurement partners and analytics tools such as AppsFlyer, Adjust, Firebase, or Google Analytics
- Ability to develop, structure, and prioritize creative hypotheses
- Strong understanding of mobile advertising creative, including casual and hybrid-casual games
- Knowledge of SKAN, ATT, post-install events, and optimization with limited attribution
- Experience with reporting, spreadsheets, and dashboards such as Google Sheets, Looker Studio, or Tableau
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly to market changes
