A security-focused technology company is seeking a QA Test Automation Developer to plan, develop, and execute automated testing for complex software systems.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and execute automated test programs for software systems.
- Develop end-to-end testing solutions according to project requirements.
- Analyze requirements and define the required test methods and equipment.
- Design automation architectures and implement test automation.
- Design and implement required test infrastructures and simulations.
- Integrate testing throughout the software development life cycle.
Requirements
- Technician, bachelor's degree, or engineering qualification in software, electronics, biomedical engineering, information systems, or a related field; alternatively, relevant automation retraining.
- Experience or knowledge of testing complex systems and communication protocols such as TCP/IP, RS-422, SNMP, WebSocket, or REST APIs.
- Programming and scripting experience, preferably with Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience with network-message monitoring, load, or performance tools.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies and the software development life cycle.
- Ability to analyze software requirements and system specifications and define test concepts and documentation, including STD, STP, and STR.
- Experience with test management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Good written and reading English.
Nice to have
- ISTQB certification or software testing training.
- Experience testing multidisciplinary or integrated systems.
- Experience developing test infrastructures.
- Knowledge of open-source software testing tools and development in web or microservices environments.
- Experience with MATLAB or Python-based testing and development tools.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Experience with CI/CD.
- Experience testing command-and-control, mission-planning, or integrated defense systems.
