A growing game development team is seeking a Senior UI/2D Artist for a colorful mobile Merge-2 game. The role focuses on creating polished interface graphics and 2D assets that support the game's friendly visual style. The position is fully remote with flexible scheduling and B2B engagement.
Responsibilities
- Create UI screen graphics and interface elements in line with the project's visual style
- Develop complete game events based on technical specifications
- Create icons, buttons, popups, and other 2D interface assets
- Prepare UI graphics for game integration through slicing and optimization
- Monitor visual trends in mobile games, particularly Casual, Merge-2, and Match-3 titles
- Help create and maintain UI guidelines and graphic libraries for the team
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a UI/2D artist or in a related role in the game industry
- Excellent Photoshop skills
- Strong sense of style and ability to work in a bright, friendly cartoon aesthetic
- Understanding of UI graphics and UX principles for mobile casual games
- Close familiarity with neural-network tools and interest in learning new AI-assisted workflows
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to delivering high-quality assets
Nice to have
- Experience with Merge or Match-3 games
- Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Flux, or Gemini
