Technical Project Manager

Oversee technical projects that improve manufacturing processes, support new equipment and facility expansions, launch new services, and drive operational efficiencies. Coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project schedules, budgets, and risks, and ensure successful project execution in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery
  • Define project goals, scope, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate cross-departmental communication and facilitate project meetings
  • Develop and maintain project documentation including plans, schedules, budgets, and reports
  • Collaborate with leadership to prioritize projects based on business goals
  • Utilize project management tools to track and report performance
  • Engage with vendors and contractors, review quotes, and provide recommendations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred
  • 5-7 years of hands-on project management experience
  • Manufacturing experience required
  • Experience managing projects within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Google Suite, MS Office)
  • Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001:2015, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, manufacturing operations, facilities, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration

Nice to have

  • PMP certification preferred
  • Experience in permitting for industrial/commercial manufacturing buildings
  • Experience managing capital projects, equipment installations, facility expansions, or new manufacturing process implementations
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Facilities, IT, and Product Development
