Manage and coordinate design and construction activities for infrastructure projects. Responsible for budget and schedule control, quality management, stakeholder communication, and oversight of contractors and consultants.
Responsibilities
- Provide oversight and direction to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Coordinate onsite trade labor activities and work with management and labor staff to solve project tasks
- Sequence and coordinate project activities
- Utilize various platforms and software for efficient city review and approval pathways; review plans and documents and provide feedback
- Contact consultants, engineers, planners, architects, and government representatives
- Oversee and track project progress
- Attend design and construction project meetings and resolve design and construction problems
- Prepare meeting minutes, reports, and perform administrative responsibilities
- Conduct general administration and oversight of design and construction process
- Review designs for coordination and constructability
- Oversee and document construction activities
- Assist in review and recommendation of approval of invoicing, change orders
- Provide client support for active and new projects
- Assist with project schedule and cost management services
- Support overall project management, strategy, vendor selection, procurement, contracting, design management, and project closeout
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of relevant experience (5+ preferred)
- US Citizenship required; no sponsorship
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
- On-site work at client location in Niskayuna, NY (Albany area)

- Experience in stakeholder management across large complex teams
- Experience in construction management/project management
- Design management experience
- Microsoft Project experience
