Seeking a Project Manager to oversee manufacturing projects from concept to delivery, ensuring budget and schedule compliance. Requires 3+ years experience in project scoping, cost control, and procurement.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and manage manufacturing projects to meet customer needs and target profit levels.
  • Monitor contractual commitments to ensure work aligns with contract terms, specifications, and drawings; process change orders promptly.
  • Approve bid tabulations for major purchase orders, contracts, and subcontracts; authorize critical changes per procedures.
  • Review invoices and payment applications for accuracy and completion percentage; recommend approval or disapproval.
  • Provide project status updates to clients, including schedules, scope revisions, and schedule changes.
  • Conduct internal meetings to coordinate project administration, engineering, material availability, and construction activities.
  • Ensure manufacturing activities comply with EHS policy and are performed safely and effectively.
  • Monitor material deliveries to meet order requirements and contract commitments.
  • Complete and review plans, schedules, change control forms, projection reports, and project status reports.
  • Finalize project closeout tasks and organize post-job reviews to verify all documents are complete.
  • Support continuous improvement for products and processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of manufacturing project management experience, including scoping, estimating, cost/schedule control, design/construction management, team building, resource planning, and procurement.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and Outlook.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Problem-solving ability with a focus on resolutions.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Higher-level thinking for business development and management reporting.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; effective listening.
  • Tactful, mature, professional demeanor with well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
  • Lean / Six Sigma or reliability experience.
