Oversee construction projects in facilities engineering, ensuring on-time, within-scope, and on-budget delivery. Manage budgets, schedules, risks, contracts, and documentation while leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Manage overall project scopes, budgets, and schedules
- Track and forecast project costs, create cost reports
- Control project documentation including contracts, change orders, and design packages
- Lead project meetings and track critical paths and recovery schedules
- Measure project performance and perform risk management
- Create daily or weekly construction reports with status, issues, and action plans
- Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps
- Prioritize and execute multiple project deliverables with available resources
- Identify process improvement opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering Management, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3-5 years of construction management or project management experience
- Strong project leadership, organizational, and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to collect, analyze, and present data
- General working knowledge of Microsoft Project or similar project management software
- Effective planning, organization, time management, and detail-oriented problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with ability to follow up with minimal direction and focus on team success
- Creative and effective decision-making when confronted with obstacles
- Strong work ethic with a customer service orientation
- Collaborative with excellent interpersonal skills and a team-building nature
- Working-level English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking)
