Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex construction and real estate projects, including due diligence, quality control, team coordination, and business development. Requires 5+ years in construction project management, strong communication, and relevant certifications. Travel to job sites required.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate multiple construction projects from inception to completion.
- Conduct plan and cost reviews, site observations, and property condition reports.
- Perform due diligence for proposed developments.
- Lead project meetings and communicate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Support senior leadership with business development, presentations, and research.
- Mentor and guide project team members, ensuring high-quality work product.
- Monitor project data, utilization, and deadlines to meet budget and profitability targets.
- Travel frequently to job sites in New York and New Jersey.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience (or Master’s with 3+ years, or 8+ years without degree).
- Solid construction project management experience.
- Knowledge of construction and construction administration.
- Familiarity with housing, retail, and commercial design or construction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Bluebeam preferred.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
Nice to have
- Professional certifications such as AC, CPC, LEED AP, PE, PMP, RA, RICS.
- Bluebeam proficiency.
- Advanced degree.
