Manage projects from inception to completion in the industrial machinery sector. Primary point of contact for stakeholders, responsible for budget, schedule, and customer satisfaction. Requires expertise in metal fabrication, ability to read technical drawings, and experience with government contracts.
Responsibilities
- Act as primary point of contact for all project stakeholders.
- Manage interdepartmental communications and external client/supplier relationships.
- Ensure project completion within estimated budget and schedule.
- Maintain complete customer satisfaction throughout project lifecycle.
- Conduct business professionally in all customer interactions (phone, email, in-person).
- Provide project oversight, including occasional travel to sites.
Requirements
- Experience in metal fabrication.
- Experience in project management of government contracts.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Planning and organizational skills.
- Effective communication abilities.
- Risk management expertise.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed part and assembly drawings.
- Computer literacy and typing skills.
Nice to have
- Basic knowledge of GD&T.
