Project Manager
Responsible for leading building construction projects, from preconstruction through closeout. Manages budgets, procurement, subcontractors, and safety compliance. Serves as primary client contact and collaborates with stakeholders. Requires 3+ years of project management experience, OSHA certification, and proficiency in construction planning.
Responsibilities
- Lead project planning and execution from preconstruction to completion.
- Manage project budgets, cost control, and ensure accurate billing.
- Serve as primary client contact and coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, and design team.
- Oversee procurement, bidding, and material tracking.
- Ensure safety compliance with OSHA standards and lead site planning meetings.
- Manage documentation and closeout procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of project management or superintendent experience.
- OSHA 10- and 30-hour certification and working knowledge of safety protocols.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with construction scheduling software (ASTA, Primavera, etc.).
- Experience with estimating software (Timberline, Beck, etc.).
- Proficiency with PDF tools (Bluebeam, Adobe, etc.).
- Working knowledge of building codes, inspections, and scheduling.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate in construction environment.
- Ability to build trust with owners and project partners.
