Pipe Stress Engineer
Support complex electronics facility projects through piping analysis, support design, integrity assessments, engineering calculations, and multidisciplinary coordination. The role is based in Israel with a hybrid work arrangement and regular client-site attendance.
Responsibilities
- Perform pipe stress analysis using AutoPIPE
- Select pipe supports from vendor catalogs and internal databases
- Design custom pipe supports based on loads, space constraints, and expected travel
- Perform equipment nozzle load evaluations, trunnion design checks, and weld adequacy assessments
- Prepare and maintain pipe stress engineering documentation
- Coordinate with piping designers, structural engineers, and other disciplines
- Conduct field walks and site investigations
- Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and project coordination
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
- At least 5 years of relevant engineering experience
- At least 2 years of experience in pipe stress analysis and support design
- Proficiency with AutoPIPE and Caesar II
- Proficiency with finite element analysis tools such as FE-Pipe and NozzlePro
- Working knowledge of Navisworks and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of ASME, ANSI, and API piping codes and standards
- Right to work in Israel
