Lead all shift activities in a plastic manufacturing facility, including safety, production output, quality, continuous improvement, resource coordination, and people management.
Responsibilities
- Lead shifts across safety, production, quality, and people management
- Execute production plans and monitor reporting, inventory levels, and kit readiness
- Analyze standard times, identify bottlenecks, balance production lines, and allocate resources
- Prepare end-of-shift reports and lead continuous improvement projects
- Conduct safety observations, 6S activities, safety initiatives, and incident lessons learned
- Oversee in-line quality controls and support scrap and waste reduction
- Coach shift team leaders and conduct employee feedback meetings
- Manage onboarding, training, certifications, and final qualification of new employees
- Identify employees with promotion potential and recognize employee achievements
- Approve attendance records and complete performance evaluations
Requirements
- 12 years of education or a high school diploma
- Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Basic English proficiency
- Fluent Hebrew reading, writing, and speaking
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Ability to lead, motivate, and engage employees
- Ability to collaborate across plant functions
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities
- Ability to follow organizational instructions and procedures
Nice to have
- Technical experience operating machinery
- Experience with Oracle and Matics systems
