Operational Excellence Manager
Lead the Operational Excellence domain in UAV Operations. Partner in building operational strategy, driving process optimization, productivity, and quality improvement using LEAN, Six Sigma, VSM, Kaizen, and 5S. Define KPIs, lead improvement projects, and serve in senior operations leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Operational Excellence (OPEX) domain within the UAV Operations Department.
- Partner in building and implementing operational strategy across all organizational levels.
- Lead cross-operational processes to drive excellence and innovation using advanced tools and methodologies.
- Conduct in-depth assessments and periodic excellence evaluations and define action plans.
- Support and execute annual work plans for operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Lead improvement projects focused on process optimization, productivity enhancement, schedule reduction, and product quality improvement.
- Implement operational excellence methodologies and tools such as LEAN, TPM, 6 Sigma, VSM, Kaizen, and 5S.
- Define KPIs and performance measurement methods and monitor implementation across units.
- Work with internal and external interfaces and drive employees and managers in a matrix environment.
- Serve as part of the senior operations leadership team and report to the VP of Operations.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management or relevant Engineering discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience leading operational excellence initiatives or managing according to Lean methodologies.
- Experience in operations and manufacturing management of complex systems.
- Experience leading organizational changes, implementing technologies, and introducing new work processes.
- Familiarity with operational excellence methodologies and tools such as LEAN, TPM, 6 Sigma, VSM, and Kaizen.
- High proficiency in Office applications and strong analytical and data interpretation capabilities.
- High level Hebrew and English.
- Strong leadership, independent work capabilities, matrix management skills, and excellent interpersonal communication.
