Responsibilities
- Define instructional design, content, and documentation standards and establish repeatable production workflows
- Transform source materials and operational knowledge into LMS modules, lessons, objectives, activities, and assessments
- Create practical SOPs covering processes, roles, systems, inputs, outputs, decision points, escalations, and procedures
- Use AI and LLM tools for drafting and structuring while maintaining human review, accuracy, consistency, and quality
- Interview stakeholders and subject-matter experts to understand workflows and produce accessible learning content
- Recommend AI-assisted video and walkthrough production workflows where appropriate
- Develop reusable templates, prompts, frameworks, and documentation assets
- Establish procedures for content review, approval, versioning, maintenance, and updates
- Own project planning, progress communication, and delivery against agreed scope, timelines, and quality standards
Requirements
- Experience in instructional design, technical writing, learning content development, process documentation, or a related field
- Hands-on experience using AI and LLM tools for content generation, structuring, editing, research, or documentation
- Ability to interview stakeholders and subject-matter experts and translate complex workflows into clear, actionable content
- Strong written communication, organization, attention to detail, and consistency across content formats
- Ability to independently manage a fixed-scope project from planning through delivery
- Experience creating LMS courses, instructional materials, SOPs, process documentation, or related learning assets
- Ability to define project scope, methodology, deliverables, assumptions, risks, estimated hours, timelines, and costs in an RFQ
- Relevant portfolio of instructional design, technical writing, course development, or process documentation work
- Willingness to sign an NDA and project agreement and complete a background check
Nice to have
- Familiarity with AI-powered content and video-authoring platforms such as Mindsmith or Synthesia
- Experience with LMS implementation, content governance, documentation standards, or knowledge-management processes
