Responsibilities
- Design and develop SOTIF-related KPIs for autonomous vehicle systems.
- Work with R&D and validation teams to implement safety concepts and methods.
- Create tools and methodologies for autonomous vehicle safety analysis.
- Identify safety risks, including driver-behavior risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Develop and implement SOTIF requirements and guidelines for system design, development, and testing.
- Engage with automotive stakeholders to promote acceptance of SOTIF methodologies.
- Collaborate with customers and regulators on SOTIF-related matters.
- Support the evolution of a large-scale autonomous vehicle system from early development through maturity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, data science, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience in software or systems development or product management.
- Significant experience building technical solutions using artificial intelligence.
- Proficiency in Python or another scripting language.
- Knowledge of SQL, statistical modeling, and design of experiments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
Nice to have
- In-depth knowledge of SOTIF concepts and standards, including ISO/PAS 21448 and UL 4600.
- Experience with safety-critical system design and development processes.
- Familiarity with hazard analysis and risk assessment methods.
- Strong coding skills.
- Experience with statistical tools.
