Business Applications and Revenue Operations Team Lead
Lead the internal business systems and revenue operations function for a B2B software company. This hands-on leadership role covers CRM architecture, revenue data, automation, reporting, commercial workflows, and team development.
Responsibilities
- Own the architecture, scalability, and technical roadmap of the core C#/.NET business platform.
- Manage the CRM and connected internal systems, including data models, workflows, permissions, integrations, and data quality.
- Build trusted reporting and dashboards covering pipeline, conversion, sales activity, customer engagement, renewals, and bottlenecks.
- Automate data enrichment, lead routing, follow-ups, internal updates, and reporting using automation and AI tools.
- Manage pipeline hygiene, territory and quota support, and day-to-day revenue team operations.
- Coordinate quote-to-cash workflows across sales, finance, and support, including pricing, contracts, renewals, and onboarding.
- Convert manual workflows into repeatable processes, playbooks, templates, and documented operating rhythms.
- Own systems strategy, requirements, vendor selection, data migration, and rollout planning.
- Lead a team of two, with planned growth to four or five, while setting priorities and developing team members.
Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency in C# and .NET, including architecture and maintenance of complex enterprise applications and core business systems.
- At least four years of experience in business applications, business systems, revenue operations, sales operations, or GTM operations within a B2B software company.
- At least two years of team leadership or formal responsibility for other people's work.
- Experience implementing or migrating a CRM or leading a significant system rollout end to end.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or an equivalent CRM, including objects, fields, workflows, reports, dashboards, and integrations.
- Strong analytical skills with SQL or advanced spreadsheets, and the ability to turn fragmented data into clear recommendations.
- Commercial judgment and an understanding of B2B sales processes.
- Ability to establish direction and structure in an environment with incomplete definitions.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
Nice to have
- Experience in a developer-facing, open-source, or infrastructure product company.
- Experience with product-led or self-serve sales motions alongside enterprise sales.
- Familiarity with billing, subscription, or ERP systems.
- Scripting experience with Python, JavaScript, or similar languages for integrations and data work.
