Food import and distribution company seeking a Supply Planner to convert demand forecasts into supply orders, maintain optimal inventory, and support product availability. This is a full-time, on-site role in Yavne, Israel.
Responsibilities
- Build supply plans from existing demand forecasts.
- Issue and update purchase orders according to supply plans.
- Monitor forecasts, identify exceptions and gaps, and recommend adjustments.
- Track inventory levels daily and flag shortages or excess stock.
- Resolve supply and inventory issues in real time.
- Coordinate orders with Marketing, Logistics, Sales, Operations, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain contact with international suppliers and resolve supply-related issues.
Requirements
- 2–3+ years of experience in supply planning or a similar role.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and systems-thinking abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering and Management, Economics, or a related field.
- Excellent English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and operate effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication, teamwork, accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
Nice to have
- Retail or FMCG experience.
- Experience working with international suppliers.
- Experience with ERP systems.
