A semiconductor manufacturing company is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to own costing, cost analysis, inventory management analysis, and planning activities. The role partners with Operations and Finance to improve cost performance, inventory accuracy, period-end close, and operational processes.
Responsibilities
- Monitor daily work-order variances against standard costing and periodically against bills of materials; identify discrepancies and drive corrective actions.
- Perform monthly cost analysis of purchased items to identify trends, discrepancies, and savings opportunities.
- Execute and validate overhead corrections, manual cost adjustments, and miscellaneous inventory and cost transactions.
- Manage slow-moving and obsolete inventory, including review meetings, transfers, write-offs, and disposal activities.
- Monitor end-of-life activities, end-of-stock updates, last-time-buy coordination, and urgent material issue resolution.
- Analyze, manage, and present end-of-quarter inventory comparisons.
- Conduct monthly Finance reviews of work-order variances, miscellaneous transactions, and cost adjustments, and validate period-end work-order closure.
- Lead inventory counts, investigate discrepancies, present findings, and coordinate corrective actions.
- Support process improvements and maintain data integrity and documentation.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in planning, preferably material planning, demand analysis, material availability, and planning coordination.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, and material planning processes.
- Strong Excel and data-analysis skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including presenting findings and recommendations to management.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Hands-on, proactive, solution-oriented, and detail-oriented working style.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, ownership, and accountability skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Oracle Cloud or Oracle Fusion Cloud, particularly Planning, Inventory, Costing, or Supply Chain modules.
