Strategic Procurement Account Lead

Own strategic, commercial, operational, and technical relationships with contract manufacturing suppliers across multiple product lines. Ensure supply continuity, supplier performance, cost effectiveness, and alignment with product and manufacturing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Own supplier relationships, governance, business reviews, performance management, and long-term alignment.
- Ensure material and build availability while monitoring delivery KPIs and proactively managing supply risks.
- Lead pricing negotiations, cost roadmaps, continuous improvement initiatives, and commercial agreements.
- Manage purchase orders and goods receipts while maintaining accurate pricing and master data.
- Drive supplier performance, capacity, flexibility, and readiness against business requirements.
- Manage engineering change orders, lead-time improvements, product lifecycle changes, and end-of-life events.
- Lead supplier contract activities in collaboration with Legal.
- Support sourcing decisions, dual-source strategies, and continuity planning across operational, financial, and geopolitical risks.
- Resolve commercial and invoicing escalations while maintaining supplier relationships.
- Work with Engineering, Manufacturing, and R&D to source mechanical components and ensure technical, quality, and manufacturing compliance.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in strategic procurement, supplier management, strategic sourcing, account management, or contract manufacturing management.
- Bachelor’s degree or practical diploma in mechanical, industrial, or electrical engineering, or business administration.
- Proven experience sourcing and managing technical commodities or components in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
- Solid understanding of procurement and end-to-end supply chain processes.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
