A global semiconductor manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Planner to lead demand forecasting, material planning, MRP, and inventory optimization in a multidisciplinary hardware environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and improve demand forecasts using business needs, sales opportunities, historical consumption, and product lifecycle data.
- Lead and monitor MRP processes and purchasing and production recommendations.
- Manage material planning across products, assemblies, and components.
- Ensure material readiness and production continuity for subcontractor manufacturing.
- Optimize inventory levels while balancing demand, lead times, and business objectives.
- Analyze planning data, identify supply chain risks, and coordinate corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and global teams.
- Drive continuous improvement and use AI-based tools to improve forecasting and planning efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in supply chain, production, or material planning within a multidisciplinary manufacturing environment.
- Experience with demand forecasting and MRP planning.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, material planning, and supply chain processes.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Understanding of bill of materials structures and engineering change order processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, especially MM and PP modules.
- Experience with configurable products and complex product structures.
- Experience in hybrid make-to-order and make-to-stock environments.
- Experience using AI tools for supply chain planning and forecasting.
