An electronics company is seeking a Senior Sourcing Program Manager to lead materials sourcing, supplier management, product costs, and supply planning for networking products.
Responsibilities
- Own materials sourcing and supplier management for products
- Support engineering teams in selecting preferred supplier products
- Manage supplier business relationships and commercial engagements
- Manage product costs and supply in collaboration with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and internal R&D, operations, finance, and sales teams
- Develop and implement commodity strategies aligned with business needs
- Analyze component, module, and contract manufacturing supplier markets
- Coordinate communication between contract manufacturers and suppliers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
- At least 8 years of experience managing suppliers
- Technical and product management experience in electronics or board industries
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams in a fast-paced organization
Nice to have
- Experience managing global suppliers and sourcing initiatives
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical component markets
- Experience with ERP and PLM systems
- Knowledge of component and board design and production processes
- Experience managing contract manufacturers and procurement cycles
