Lead a team of production planners and own the planning process for a manufacturing operation. Balance capacity, inventory, customer commitments, and operational constraints while improving planning accuracy and execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of four production planners.
- Translate supply requirements into executable manufacturing schedules.
- Optimize production capacity while balancing customer service, inventory targets, and operational constraints.
- Coordinate with supply planning, procurement, manufacturing, and business planning teams to resolve supply-demand gaps.
- Monitor plan execution and manage risks, bottlenecks, and capacity constraints.
- Analyze schedule adherence, inventory, lead-time, and other planning performance indicators.
- Drive initiatives that improve planning accuracy, production efficiency, and inventory performance.
- Support S&OE and S&OP processes through capacity insights, scenario analysis, and risk assessments.
- Maintain and optimize planning master data, parameters, and ERP planning settings.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering.
- At least five years of experience in production planning and control.
- At least two years of experience as a manager or team leader.
- Excellent English communication skills for leading professional discussions.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- A detail-oriented, collaborative, and technology-oriented approach.
Nice to have
- Experience with warehouse and shipping operations.
- Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma process improvement methods.
