A defense and aerospace systems integration company is seeking a Procurement Project Manager to lead procurement processes for complex projects. The role involves planning, budget control, logistics coordination, and procurement risk management across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor project procurement programs and budget targets
- Coordinate logistics between the requesting project organization and procurement management
- Lead the project logistics function within the procurement organization
- Establish budget-management policies, track shortages, and provide regular reports
- Manage procurement risks
- Collaborate with procurement, production, engineering, and project-management stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or practical engineering diploma in logistics or industrial engineering and management
- 3–5 years of proven experience in procurement or logistics
- Full proficiency in Excel
- Experience working with complex work plans
- Good English reading, writing, and speaking skills
- Strong teamwork, influence, and leadership abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and matrix-management skills
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Experience with aviation projects
