A leading food manufacturing organization is seeking a Planning Manager to lead planning analysts, drive strategic and proactive planning, and implement supply chain improvement initiatives. The role may be based at sites in Israel’s north and requires travel between northern and central locations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of planning analysts.
- Drive strategic planning across multiple time horizons and support business-unit strategy development.
- Manage proactive planning and create annual and domain-specific work plans, including KPIs and KBIs.
- Implement supply chain strategy and lead best-practice processes.
- Coach teams and implement new planning methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management or Economics.
- At least 5 years of experience in demand planning and/or supply planning.
- Management experience and experience leading multidisciplinary processes.
- Advanced proficiency with Office tools and familiarity with ERP systems.
- In-depth knowledge of S&OP, RCCP, optimization, and productivity processes.
- Experience building effective partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel between northern and central regions of Israel.
Nice to have
- Experience in the consumer goods or food industry.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Familiarity with advanced planning tools.
