Lead operational excellence and process-improvement activities at a manufacturing plant. This temporary full-time role covers maternity leave.
Responsibilities
- Lead excellence initiatives across plant operations and implement methods to reduce operational losses.
- Understand short- and long-term business needs and lead annual and multi-year process-improvement plans.
- Achieve operational goals by engaging managers and employees.
- Train and coach teams across relevant areas.
- Implement process-control tools across relevant systems.
- Maintain relevant data in SAP.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, or final-year student in the field.
- Full proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical and data-analysis skills.
- High level of English.
- Availability for a temporary maternity-leave replacement.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of production engineering methodologies.
- Experience with process-improvement approaches such as Six Sigma and Kaizen.
- Demonstrated experience leading change and providing training or coaching.
- Experience with SAP and process-control systems.
