Join an aerospace quality team in Haifa to manage supplier quality for mechanical and electronic specification items and improve supplier performance.
Responsibilities
- Manage and control supplier quality for mechanical and electronic specification items
- Conduct periodic quality audits at supplier sites
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and corrective action plans
- Analyze quality findings and prepare statistical reports
- Support product development processes and lead supplier FAI activities
- Support the onboarding and qualification of new suppliers
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues
- Define supplier quality requirements and implement standards and specifications
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, or Materials Engineering
- At least 3 years of quality experience in the defense or aerospace industry
- Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards
- Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI) processes
- High-level English proficiency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness to travel to supplier sites in Israel and abroad
- Strong analytical, interpersonal communication, and process leadership skills
Nice to have
- Lead Auditor certification
- Experience working with suppliers
- Experience with ERP and PLM systems
