Lead quality strategy and execution across hardware product development, verification, validation, and production. Coordinate cross-functional teams, manage risks and product changes, and improve quality processes throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams through product development stages, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and quality criteria.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions.
- Identify, prioritize, track, and mitigate risks to schedule and product quality.
- Manage product changes and configuration control throughout development.
- Promote early issue detection, continuous monitoring, and timely resolution.
- Maintain and improve quality control plans and product development, verification, and validation processes.
- Coordinate quality improvement initiatives and project planning to reduce customer complaints and internal scrap.
Requirements
- 12 or more years of experience in hardware design development, testing, or process engineering.
- A bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, materials, chemical, or a similar engineering field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with hardware qualification, reliability processes, quality procedures, and tools.
- Familiarity with risk assessment, failure analysis, and FMEA.
Nice to have
- Five or more years of experience in quality.
- Knowledge of board design or assembly, semiconductors, manufacturing processes, or test engineering.
