Join an operations and monitoring team responsible for enterprise computer systems, with a focus on the AS400 environment. The role is shift-based and requires availability for evening and night work, excluding Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control enterprise computer systems and operational processes.
- Track batch runs and ongoing system activity.
- Perform routine actions in the AS400 environment.
- Handle operational incidents and escalate issues to the appropriate teams.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and IT teams.
- Document incidents and operational events.
Requirements
- Technical orientation and ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to follow procedures and manage multiple tasks.
- Responsibility, organization, accuracy, and independent working ability.
- Teamwork and effective communication with internal stakeholders.
- Willingness to work shifts is required.
- Availability for evening and night shifts according to the role schedule; Saturday work is not required.
Nice to have
- Previous experience as a computer operator, NOC operator, or systems operations professional.
- Familiarity with AS400 or IBM i environments.
- Experience monitoring systems, processes, and batch runs.
