Lead projects and operational ownership for business-critical foreign-exchange trading systems. Coordinate business users, technology and development teams, service teams, and global vendors in a high-pressure environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead trading-systems projects, including implementation, upgrades, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
- Own the professional and operational performance of production trading systems.
- Coordinate development and maintenance work, including task breakdown, allocation, monitoring, and delivery.
- Provide professional guidance to development and systems teams.
- Manage production incidents and critical issues during trading hours.
- Track project progress, identify risks, and escalate issues when needed.
- Maintain quality, timelines, procedures, and operational standards.
- Lead technology initiatives and promote new tools and process improvements.
- Optimize processes across the systems lifecycle.
- Coordinate communication with global vendors and external partners.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in information systems, including project leadership and information-systems support.
- Mandatory experience with FX trading systems or foreign-exchange trading-room systems.
- Proven project-management experience covering information-systems implementation, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Experience writing scripts on servers.
- Strong systems thinking and broad analytical capabilities.
- Direct experience working with business users or end users.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with internal and external teams.
- Professional English communication with global vendors and external partners.
Nice to have
- Seven or more years of experience with C#.
- Experience in systems analysis.
