Lead the delivery of complex, high-value projects in transportation and logistics. Direct project initiation, planning, execution, and closure with cross-functional teams. Manage budgets, contracts, risks, and stakeholder relationships. Mentor junior PMs and contribute to organizational best practices.
Responsibilities
- Guide project teams through ambiguity and complexity throughout the project lifecycle
- Align project execution with organizational strategy and business goals
- Ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality project delivery
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and governance structures
- Manage resource allocation and critical path activities
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communication plans
- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance
- Develop and manage complex project budgets
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues
Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive project management experience
- Expert knowledge of project management methodologies
- Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira)
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex, cross-functional projects
- Strong financial management and budgeting skills
Nice to have
