Responsibilities
- Own customer projects from order receipt through production, assembly, and final delivery
- Build and manage project timelines, priorities, milestones, deliverables, costs, and performance targets
- Coordinate Engineering, Production, Assembly, Planning, Supply Chain, and Quality activities
- Manage suppliers and subcontractors to support execution, timelines, and quality
- Ensure technical requirements, drawings, specifications, and customer expectations are understood and implemented
- Monitor progress and resolve risks, delays, production constraints, and bottlenecks
- Communicate with customers about status, schedules, technical issues, and delivery commitments
- Provide project updates and reports to management
- Support continuous improvement in project execution, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Experience in project or product management within manufacturing, machining, metalworking, or an industrial environment
- Experience managing teams, preferably in production or assembly
- Experience managing suppliers and subcontractors
- Strong understanding of machining and manufacturing processes, production planning, and technical drawings
- Experience coordinating Engineering, Production, Quality, Planning, and Supply Chain teams
- Experience with ERP systems and production planning tools; Priority ERP experience is required
- Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent organization, multitasking, problem-solving, and execution skills
- Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality, schedules, and customer requirements
Nice to have
- Experience with CNC machining or precision metal processing
- Experience managing assembly activities or production teams
- Background in customer-driven manufacturing projects
- Technical education or an engineering-related background
