Project Management Officer, Technology Projects
Support technology project planning and control, improve project management processes, and coordinate tender committee workflows for a government unit. Hybrid work in Modi’in, with three days per week on site.
Responsibilities
- Build project plans, monitor progress, and report planned versus actual delivery.
- Improve project management processes and tools, and support project managers in using them.
- Coordinate tender committee workflows, including document review, meeting records, and decision follow-up.
- Work with project, procurement, budget, and legal teams to identify delays and move tasks forward.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience managing and controlling technology projects.
- A degree in Industrial Engineering and Management or Information Systems; alternatively, another degree plus at least 300 hours of relevant project management and systems analysis coursework, or documented relevant service in a recognized military technology unit.
- Strong planning, analytical, communication, and professional writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with public-sector procurement or tender committees.
- Familiarity with Israeli government procurement rules or the Merkava system.
- Broad knowledge of IT systems.
