Commercial Project Manager
Responsible for commercial project management for energy sector projects in Israel, including financial planning, contract negotiation, risk assessment, and supplier management. Requires strong project controlling skills and collaboration with global teams.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy of project books and records in SAP, ensuring compliance with guidelines and local accounting requirements.
- Perform project reporting and controlling activities, including forecasting for sales, margin, and cash flow.
- Support project manager in achieving financial targets, optimizing gross profit, cash flow, and assets.
- Identify and assess commercial risks and opportunities, and develop response strategies.
- Analyze and comment on contracts, including legal aspects in cooperation with global project team.
- Handle tax issues, insurance, currency, customs, and compliance matters.
- Negotiate and implement Technical Field Assistance (TFA) contracts, including deployment, invoicing, and cash collection.
- Manage local suppliers, verify subcontractor invoices, and oversee goods receipt.
- Conclude framework agreements for accommodation, transport, office supplies, etc.
- Provide commercial support for site activities and visit construction sites and customers.
Requirements
- Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
- At least 7 years of working experience, including at least 5 years in project controlling or contract management.
- Proficiency with standard accounting principles.
- Strong competence in using IT tools including Microsoft, SAP, and Salesforce applications.
- Experience working in multinational companies.
- Thorough understanding of project management guidelines (e.g., LoA, NCM, Consortium).
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
