A growing retail organization is seeking an experienced System Administrator to take hands-on ownership of its infrastructure and support infrastructure and information systems projects.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the organization’s system administration environment.
- Set up, manage, and maintain servers and infrastructure.
- Diagnose complex technical issues and deliver professional solutions.
- Administer a VMware-based virtual environment.
- Work with SQL servers and local and cloud-based backup systems.
- Lead infrastructure and information systems projects.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a System Administrator.
- Hands-on experience setting up, managing, and maintaining servers and infrastructure.
- Proven experience with VMware environments.
- Familiarity with SQL servers.
- Strong initiative, accountability, independent working ability, and interpersonal skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Veeam backup systems is a significant advantage.
