Junior IT Support Specialist

Full-time, on-site IT support position in Jerusalem with a government organization. The role supports computing, communications, networks, endpoints, operating systems, hardware, software, and users across Jerusalem-area sites.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve computing, communications, and network incidents.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software on workstations and other computing equipment.
- Manage software distribution and update systems for endpoint devices.
- Administer Active Directory users, groups, permissions, and GPOs.
- Support organizational network infrastructure and services, including file services and communications.
- Provide technical support to users.
- Provide backup support to additional sites as needed.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience in IT support or a related field.
- Experience with computers, endpoint devices, operating systems, and network environments.
- Experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware and software.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, including users, groups, permissions, and Group Policy Objects (GPO).
- Experience supporting large organizations with more than 300 users.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve computing and communications issues.
- Relevant computer or technology education in accordance with the applicable tender requirements.
- Valid driving license.
- Strong service orientation and ability to work effectively in a team.
Nice to have
- Experience providing in-person technical support or Help Desk support.
