Lead a technical IT systems team responsible for secure, reliable, and scalable corporate infrastructure across datacenter, cloud, endpoint, and productivity environments. The role combines hands-on infrastructure management, team leadership, automation, modernization, and advanced technical support
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support the IT systems team while providing technical direction and supporting professional development.
- Manage and monitor endpoint, server, storage, networking, operating system, and productivity infrastructure across on-premises, datacenter, and cloud environments.
- Design and implement infrastructure upgrades, modernization initiatives, and new technology integrations.
- Maintain high availability, reliability, performance, and security across corporate IT systems.
- Administer Microsoft 365 and support the deployment of global productivity tools.
- Install, configure, test, and maintain Windows, Linux, and macOS systems, applications, and management tools.
- Serve as the highest escalation point for complex organization-wide IT issues and provide tier-3 support.
- Apply security-conscious system design, patching, access control, auditing, and operational procedures.
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation, DevOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code solutions.
- Collaborate with departments worldwide to align IT services and infrastructure strategy with business needs.
- Track infrastructure, security, and technology trends and apply relevant improvements.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience leading IT systems, infrastructure, or DevOps teams in a technology company.
- At least 5 years of hands-on Microsoft 365 administration, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft Entra experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on VMware vSphere experience, including installation, configuration, and system design.
- Hands-on scripting experience with PowerShell and/or Python.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, identity and access management, SSO, RBAC, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Experience with AWS core services, including EC2, S3, Route 53, and FSx, plus basic AWS security controls.
- Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation infrastructure as code.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems.
- Enterprise macOS endpoint management experience with Jamf Pro or a similar platform, and experience with Microsoft Intune.
- Experience with physical datacenter infrastructure, networks, storage, and backup systems, including NAS/SAN environments.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, monitoring, patching, access control, and IT audit practices.
- Proven experience delivering IT projects and technology integrations.
- Excellent English and Hebrew written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong ownership, problem-solving, prioritization, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Commvault or Metallic enterprise backup systems.
- Experience modernizing infrastructure with AI tools.
