Join a defense technology company’s algorithms team to develop wireless communication, signal detection, and real-time processing solutions for advanced operational systems. The role is based in Israel’s Sharon area and follows a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
- Characterize wireless communication systems mathematically and design algorithms for weak-signal detection.
- Build high-fidelity MATLAB and Python simulations to assess algorithms, waveforms, and channel behavior.
- Design receiver-module architectures for software or high-speed FPGA implementation.
- Implement algorithms in software and guide FPGA engineers in translating models to hardware.
- Lead hardware-software integration, laboratory bring-up, and field validation for real-time systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
- At least 4 years of hands-on algorithm development experience.
- Deep practical expertise in digital signal processing (DSP).
- Experience with wireless communication algorithms, physical-layer design, or Wi-Fi protocols.
- Strong programming and modeling skills in Python or MATLAB.
Nice to have
- Experience with RF laboratory equipment such as spectrum analyzers and vector signal generators.
- Knowledge of 4G/5G cellular protocols or proprietary wireless communication standards.
- Familiarity with C/C++ embedded implementations or FPGA synthesis flows.
