Design and manage the in-game economy for a multiplayer gaming company. Use behavioral insights, mathematical models, simulations, and data analysis to improve player experience and community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Design economic game features to improve user experience and optimize game KPIs.
- Model and balance complex game systems to maintain a healthy in-game economy.
- Manage pricing for in-game currencies, real-money purchases, stores, and offers.
- Collaborate with product and monetization teams to build and implement game content and live-ops activities.
- Analyze data and run A/B tests to improve game performance.
- Monitor key in-game economic KPIs and maintain a balanced economy.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in game economy.
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, mathematics, engineering, or another quantitative field.
- Advanced analytical skills and ability to identify patterns and trends.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- SQL knowledge.
- Enjoy working with numbers, formulas, and data analysis.
Nice to have
- Experience with mobile or free-to-play games.
